Solar Freedom International began in 1994 as an organization dedicated to the research, design and dissemination of solar ovens and solar cooking world wide. As an organization we have developed one of the best family size cookers on the globe.

We have placed thousands of solar cookers in over 38 countries. We have done this through both large and small scale projects at home and internationally. Our key successes have been in Cuba, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Fiji, Northern India, Haiti, the USA and Canada.

Solar Freedom International has evolved into an organization dedicated to developing green energy solutions with a focus on simple passive solar designs.

We aim to solve the worlds hunger for energy by developing low impact high performance designs with long lifecycles that the average person can build themselves.

In addition Solar Freedom is dedicated to disolving the burdens of ignorance through training, education,seminars,speaking, and writing.
